Volunteers have a big impact on our ability to bring life-saving and
life-changing services to those in our community who need it most.
Volunteers are integrated into every facet of our organization. A volunteer Board of Directors provides governance, oversight of major policy initiatives, and institutes and monitors long-term planning. Volunteers provide our residents an evening meal (and even more importantly daily interaction with a caring community). Volunteers help with clerical and administrative duties. They coordinate fundraisers and special events. Volunteers help out with a myriad of fix-up and renovation projects. We have hundreds of volunteers providing thousands of hours of service each year. We have volunteer opportunities for every individual and group, even kids can help out. From working with our residents to helping with behind the scenes tasks, there is a place for you.
