We provide addiction recovery services through a comprehensive Residential Recovery Program for homeless men, outpatient counseling and various outreach initiatives. We are currently developing a residential program for homeless, addicted women. Scroll down for more about The Extension. That reward is hope for homeless, addicted women in our community. Read more. The Extension's Residential Recovery Program for 47 homeless men is the largest of its kind in the North Metro area, with an array of services unparalleled in the entire state. In our program the residents learn to become accountable to themselves, their families and the community. We are currently in the early stages of developing a women's residential recovery program to fill this glaring gap in services to homeless, addicted women. We began in 1987 as the Marietta-Cobb Winter Shelter, and it was through those early years of providing emergency shelter that we saw first hand that the leading cause of homelessness for men in our area was substance abuse and its causes. Your support is critical for the success of those we serve. Thank you for visiting our web site—we hope that you will spend some time learning more about our organization and how you can help. We would also love for you to drop by sometime and see first hand the incredible life-change that happens everyday. |
